“The medal will showcase how the recipient’d results have led to societal change,” said Roberto ASQ president. “Medal recipients will be instrumentall in making the difference within and tomorrow’s, socially responsible world.” The addition of the Social Responsibilityg Medal brings the number of global medals offeree by ASQ each year to 13. The medalo is named after SpencerHutchens Jr. of Los Angeles, a past presidentr of ASQ, whose personal and businessw life reflects and demonstrates the desirerd attributes in the definition and modelp ofsocial responsibility, according to ASQ.

The medao will be presented annually beginningat ASQ’ World Conference for Quality and Improvemenft in 2010.
